he was the greatest guitarist that this world will ever know...i grew on up on hendrix and man there is nooo comparing stevie had a style all his own ! fastest hands eva.. he was and is the king of blues a rock em baby..lol he came from my part of dallas...love him may he rest in peace my brotha

and I'll say this..he got compared to Hendrix for using his Jimi's style, but I think Stevie "plays" a little bit better than Jimi..Jimi wasn't a great "player", but a bad a$$ ad-libber. Stevie is a little bit cleaner than Jimi, even with his "tangents", if you will...

Only one problem with a previous comment..HE has been compared to Hendrix...There's no comparison..Hendrix dabbled in feedback, while Stevie just plays the most kick ass music from the heart. What's to compare?
