Just because you ignore a problem doesn't make it go away. We all live in cycles of some sort of addiction or hurt to ourselves or others, on varying degrees. It's in just understanding the depths of sorrow and pain that we as people can undergo and force on others, that we realize we have the power to do something about it. If we don't, we may find ourselves misunderstood and all alone one day...

why would you recommend requiem for a dream to anyone? that is the saddest, most depressing snapshot of the dirtiest aspects of human existence i've ever encountered. i go to movies to be distracted and entertained, not reminded of the shitty lives other people are living right now. it is a good movie for what it is, and the song is utterly beautiful. but give me the big lebowski ANY DAY.

When I heard it for the first time I was like "Omg!! I need to kno the name of this song!"
